Proposed Guidelines for Standardization of Novice Driving Signs
Abstract : This study focused on analyzing domestic and foreign cases using standardized novice driving signs in terms of sign design and proposing design guidelines to be considered when standardizing domestic novice driving signs. Currently, there are no legal regulations in Korea, creating a crowded road environment by indiscriminate use of novice driving signs. Due to these problems, this study was conducted as opinions on the promotion of standardization of novice driving signs were increasing. Through literature research, the theoretical background of driver sign design was investigated, and eight cases were studied based on four elements of character, color, shape, and attachment among the components of the sign design. Through this, the design characteristics of the novice driving sign were classified into ‘character-emphasized’, ‘color-emphasized’, and ‘form-emphasized’, and the following guidelines were proposed based on the derived characteristics. For fast recognition on the road, charactersforms are symbolized and colors are minimized. It also defines the appropriate size and location of attachment to deliver an organized image without interfering with the driver's view. This study is meaningful in analyzing novice driving signs based on design elements, and it is expected to be used as practical data to help discuss the standardized design of novice driving signs in the future.

Abstract : The freight transport industry has a high impact on the environment due to its high energy consumption and carbon emissions, and freight transport has traditionally relied on fossil fuel vehicles based on internal combustion engines. The greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution caused by this are becoming serious problems. Accordingly, there is an urgent need to reduce carbon emissions and switch to eco-friendly energy sources. Various factors should be considered for the commercialization and expansion of hydrogen vehicles. Using the AHP technique, we analyzed the demand factors for the introduction of domestic hydrogen cargo vehicles, identified the decision-making factors that affect the intention to switchexisting energy sources to hydrogen energy, and analyzed the scale of policy subsidies for the expansion of hydrogen cargo vehicles in the future. The first priority was ‘cost’ (0.381), the second was ‘vehicle performance’ (0.314), and the third was ‘convenience’ (0.305). In terms of detailed factors, vehicle price, charging time, and maximum driving distance were found to be important factors. Analysis of respondents' willingness to pay additionally for hydrogen trucks in future truck purchases The average additional payment amount was estimated to be approximately 7.568 million won, and excluding those who refused to pay, it was 14.55 million won. In order to activate hydrogen trucks, stabilization of initial vehicle prices is necessary, and in particular, support for vehicle purchases through subsidies should be given priority.

Study on Measuring Lunchbox Volume Based on Residual Distribution Using Deep Learning
Abstract : In this paper, we focus on developing a system that can effectively monitor the nutritional intake of the elderly. The system consists of a Flutter-based user interface and an image processing backend using a U-Net model. When a user uploads an image of a lunchbox to the application, the system automatically analyzes the remaining amount in the image through the U-Net model and provides the result. For system validation, the remaining amounts were classified into 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, and the segmentation performance at each level was compared. In this process, the U-Net model showed very precise image segmentation performance and recorded high accuracy through various experiments. This system was designed to solve the problem of nutritional deficiency that may occur when elderly individuals eat alone. By monitoring the remaining amount in real time, it helps experts provide more appropriate nutritional management. These research results demonstrate the potential of this system as an important tool for systematically monitoring and improving the nutritional status of vulnerable groups. This technology-based approach can mark a significant turning point in the public health sector by automating nutrition monitoring for the elderly and enabling real-time intervention.
